Vice President, Total Rewards
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Total Rewards to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This leader will oversee the strategy and execution of a comprehensive Total Rewards agenda that supports attraction, retention, and long-term organizational performance. The role will partner closely with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure reward programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business priorities. This position also carries accountability for team leadership, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement across compensation and benefits practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic design and execution of the Total Rewards philosophy.
- Deliver competitive Total Rewards programs to attract and retain talent.
- Lead the Total Rewards team in developing effective programs aligned with business goals.
- Enhance team processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and manage all necessary reporting.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors for optimal service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and vendor capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 20+ years of experience in compensation and benefits or similar roles, with progressively responsible leadership roles.
- Experience engaging with Compensation Committees and Board of Directors.

Pay
Compensation: $210,000 – $250,000 annually
