About the role

The Vice President (VP), Strategic Customer Group is responsible for leading all customer-facing market access, trade, and account management activities to ensure successful coverage, reimbursement, and delivery of Cabaletta Bio’s CAR-T therapies. This role serves as the primary external interface with key stakeholders and is accountable for execution of contracting strategies and development of long-term partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Own all customer-facing interactions with key stakeholders, including private payers, hospital administrators, and integrated delivery networks. Build and maintain executive-level relationships to support access and adoption.
  • Lead development, negotiation, and execution of contracts with payers, providers, and health systems. Ensure alignment with pricing, access strategy, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee specialty pharmacy strategy and trade management to support cell therapy delivery. Ensure coordination across distribution channels, providers, and payers.
  • Lead strategy and relationships with GPOs and hospital purchasing entities. Partner with hospital administrators and treatment centers to ensure operational readiness and patient access.
  • Co-lead payer and hospital advisory boards to gather insights and inform strategy. Support Partner with New Product Planning (NPP) on future indications and business development opportunities by bringing forward customer insights.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • 15+ years of experience in market access, payer engagement, or strategic account management.
  • Proven experience leading contracting and negotiations across payers and providers.
  • Deep expertise in specialty pharmacy, trade, and/or buy-and-bill models.
  • Experience in cell/gene therapy or complex specialty launches strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, leadership, and negotiation skills.
