Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all marketing and sales functions for the division and manage relationships with other executive leaders.
  • Plan, develop, and implement objectives, policies, and programs for marketing and sales activities.
  • Estimate market values and conditions; investigate market conditions and facilities to determine time, place, and type of sales.
  • Prepare advertising material and select media for its release; assign and direct activities of sales personnel.
  • Determine methods of display and set prices in conformity with value and market conditions.
  • Analyze opportunities for growth in market segments to drive profitability.
  • Direct the organization responsible for internet advertising sales.
  • Sell, develop, and maintain advertising accounts for new and existing clients via telephone, email, face-to-face sales calls, web interaction, and relationship-building.
  • Develop strategies and sales volume forecasts for this part of the sales function.
  • Execute strategic decisions critical to division performance and success, impacting short-term growth (1-3 years).

  • Excellent prospecting, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
