Vice President, Production Services Infrastructure Support

About the role

Support day-to-day operations of our enterprise Linux environment. Respond to incidents and work to resolution. This may include system performance, hardware issues, network communication, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of our enterprise Linux environment.
• Respond to incidents and work to resolution.
• This may include system performance, hardware issues, network communication, etc.
• Part of a global 24x7 team providing support for the entire enterprise at the L2 support level.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8 - 10 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• A working knowledge of scripting, Ansible automation concepts is a must.
• Hands-on experience with system monitoring, performance tuning and root cause analysis.
• Knowledgeable of physical, virtual, and cloud-based infrastructures.
• Proven ability to work well with other teams and communicate issues and solutions to management.

Qualifications
