About the role
The VP of Personal Systems Alliance Operations will manage a comprehensive and cohesive strategy to create a world-class technology alliance program. They will engage, build, and evolve this program to align with HP's overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage $10B+ procurement spending across alliance partners.
- Negotiate funding and assurance of supply with multiple partners.
- Contribute to the optimization of end-to-end supply/demand planning processes internally within HP and externally with alliance partners; participate on trade-off decisions for a multi-million unit business.
- Define and manage matrixed metrics across a portfolio of partnerships.
- Identify “Better Together” strategic innovation growth opportunities.
- Develop business plans and secure buy-in on which opportunities to pursue with HP business unit owners and alliance partners.
- Manage executive level engagements, including creating content, gaining internal and external buy-in, pre-briefs, and post-meeting follow-ups.
Requirements
- Proven success running a global enterprise-level strategic technology alliance program with well-established relationships with partner executives.
- Agile, strategic, and flexible/creative thinker with a strong understanding of business and commercial business models and transactions.
- Conversant in key business and financial metrics.
- Deep understanding of the PC industry ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating and providing cross-functional leadership and building strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and partner field teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, navigate ambiguity, and innovate in an entrepreneurial high-growth environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, communication, and promotional skills with comfort dealing and negotiating with senior executives and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels (executives, junior staff, and external stakeholders).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology related discipline, MBA preferred.
- 12+ years in senior leadership roles.
- 10+ years in technology and partner-focused roles.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $266,000 - $318,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
