Vice President of Finance - onsite

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability.
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and tax.
• Led the development of financial models and business plans for strategic initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Manage relationships with investors, auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor cash flow, capital structure, and investment strategies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Lead risk management efforts including insurance, internal controls, and compliance.
• Drove operational efficiency through financial systems and process improvements.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
• Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering professional development and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including executive-level roles.
• Certified Public Account certification (CPA).
• Deep understanding of financial regulations, GAAP, and corporate governance.
• Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions.
• Proven track record of strategic financial planning and execution.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial technologies.
• Experience with GSA or federal financial compliance.
• Familiarity with capital fundraising, investor relations, or IPO readiness.
