Job Summary
At Wycliffe Bible Translators, we seek a Vice President for Finance who can shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and strengthen our global impact on Bible translation. With over 2,800 languages translated and 514 remaining, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the financial integrity and sustainability of our mission.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate financial information and reports for the Wycliffe USA Board, CEO, COO, and CFO.
- Reports observable trends and variances that may affect decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local applicable laws and regulations by staying abreast of existing and new legislation and filing of applicable reports.
- Informs and advises Executive Leadership on potential risks and recommended mitigation strategies.
- Responsible for planning and completion of the year-end audit and collaboration with external auditors, including the annual consolidation and audited financial statements.
- Represent Wycliffe USA on various boards and committees, such as the Audit Committee, Retirement Plan Committee, Health Plan Advisory Committee, and other ad hoc committees.
- Initiate and cultivate relationships with the finance leadership of partner and other like-minded non-profit organizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications
- You’re passionate about praying for Bible translation work and seeing lives around the world transformed by God’s Word.
- You have a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field; CPA or relevant financial certification preferred, seven or more years of progressive financial leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- You demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification).

Pay Range
$98,567 - $126,368
