Signify Technology is conducting a confidential search for a Vice President of Data and Analytics. Our client seeks an executive to transform their extensive data assets into strategic business decisions, shaping how the organization measures its performance.
About the role
This is a strategy-and-build leadership position reporting directly to executive leadership. The successful candidate will own the enterprise data and analytics strategy, platform, governance, and team development, driving measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise data and analytics strategy, roadmap, and budget.
- Lead and grow the data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence teams, including hiring, mentoring, and development.
- Set the architectural direction for the modern data platform, covering warehouse, lakehouse, pipelines, and streaming.
- Own data governance, data quality, master data management, and the organization's data privacy obligations.
- Build the reporting and analytics layer that gives executives and the board reliable visibility into the business.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Product, and Sales leadership to turn business questions into measurable answers.
- Establish the metric definitions and single source of truth the organization reports against.
- Drive advanced analytics, forecasting, and machine learning use cases where they carry clear business value.
- Own data platform vendor relationships, licensing, and platform cost management.
- Champion data literacy and self-service analytics across the wider business.
Requirements
- 10 or more years in data, analytics, or business intelligence, with 5 or more years leading teams at manager, director, or above.
- Proven ownership of an enterprise data strategy and the budget behind it.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with a modern data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or Synapse).
- Strong background in data modeling, ELT and ETL pipeline design, and orchestration.
- Demonstrated ownership of a data governance program, including data quality and privacy compliance.
- Fluency with BI and visualization tooling (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
- Experience translating business problems into analytics deliverables executives actually use.
- Track record of building, leading, and retaining a data organization.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay
$200,000 to $265,000 base salary plus performance bonus (dependent on experience).
Schedule
Florida-based hybrid or onsite preferred. Remote considered nationally for the right leader.
