Vice President of Consumer Lending

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct Consumer Lending teams
• Oversee processes for all consumer lending activities, including loan applications, underwriting, processing, closing, third-party vendor management, and loan origination system configuration
• Deploy internal credit risk controls and allocate appropriate resources
• Ensure service directives are met while identifying opportunities to improve service to internal and external members
• Drive strategic initiatives within the business line
• Assist the EVP, Member Experience with planning and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
• 15 years of management experience, preferably in a credit union or financial institution
• 10 years of experience in Consumer Lending
• Minimum 10 years of management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively across multifunctional teams
• Must be bondable
