About the Role

Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) is seeking a highly relational, operationally minded Vice President of Administration & Finance to provide executive leadership across the organization's financial, administrative, operational, governance, and compliance functions. This strategic leadership role is broader than a traditional CFO position, combining financial stewardship with operational leadership and organizational development.

The ideal candidate is a mature Christian leader who brings strong financial and operational expertise, exceptional judgment, emotional intelligence, and a servant-hearted commitment to ministry stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of all financial operations and accounting functions.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial planning.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards and GAAP.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial accountability.

  • Cook up annual audits and relationships with external auditors.

  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Nonprofit Leadership, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, administration, operations, or nonprofit leadership.

    • Experience overseeing accounting operations, budgeting, audits, and organizational systems.

    • Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, financial reporting, and operational stewardship.

    • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and process-improvement experience.

    • Proficiency with accounting systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel.

  • PREFERRED:

    • Nonprofit and/or ministry experience.

    • International ministry finance or global nonprofit operations experience.

    • CPA, MBA, or related professional credential.

Pay

SGA offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000-$115,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
