Responsibilities
The Vice President for Finance and Administration oversees operational and capital budgets, campus operations and facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight of operational and capital budgets
- Collaboration with campus counsel and other senior leaders
- Serving on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Queensborough Community College Enterprise Association, Inc.
- Providing oversight and support for the QCC Fund, Inc.
- Serving on multiple College committees
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience
- Master’s degree in related field preferred
- Proven leadership in budget development, financial management, and administrative operations
- Experience in a higher education setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience building strong relationships and engaging effectively with leaders, staff, and students
- Experience with capital project financing and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
Pay and Benefits
Salary commensurate with education and experience. Salary range: $200,000 - $220,000. CUNY offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement/pension benefits, and tuition waivers for graduate study.
