About the role

Vice President, Knowledge Management at Kaufman Hall & Associates, LLC. We are a 40-year-old consulting firm that helps healthcare institutions achieve their missions and solve complex problems. The VP, Knowledge Management will lead our firm's strategy to capture, organize, curate, and leverage intellectual capital.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the firm’s enterprise knowledge management strategy
  • Oversee knowledge management infrastructure, repositories, governance standards, taxonomy, and content lifecycle management processes
  • Partner with consulting and operational leaders to improve capture, organization, and dissemination of intellectual capital
  • Support proposal and engagement teams with high-value content
  • Ensure firm’s intellectual capital is effectively maintained and scaled
  • Define scalable approaches for leveraging AI technologies
  • Implement AI-enabled solutions and governance processes
  • Improve searchability, accessibility, and usability of firm knowledge resources
  • Align knowledge management strategy with digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in knowledge management, content management, consulting operations, digital enablement, or related roles
  • Experience leading enterprise knowledge management programs, systems, and governance models
  • Understanding of sales operations, intellectual capital management, and consulting engagement workflows
  • Implementing or optimizing KM technologies, collaboration platforms, document management systems, enterprise search tools, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Familiarity with governance considerations related to AI-enabled knowledge management, information security, and enterprise content standards
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable strategies
  • Leadership experience with team development and performance management
  • Attention to operational effectiveness and user experience
  • Professionalism, collaboration, and client service orientation
