About the role

The Vice President, Investments & Capital Markets role at Di Rezze Family Office requires a candidate with 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, hedge funds, family offices, capital markets, or related investing roles. The ideal candidate should have exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities, strong transaction execution and project management skills, and the ability to independently evaluate businesses, management teams, and investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with founders, CEOs, investors, bankers, private equity firms, venture funds, family offices, and industry executives.
  • Evaluate new investment opportunities and maintain an active pipeline of potential transactions.
  • Represent the firm in meetings, conferences, industry events, and management presentations.
  • Develop long-term relationships across the venture, growth equity, private equity, and capital markets communities.
  • Conduct business, financial, operational, and market diligence on prospective investments.
  • Assess management teams, competitive positioning, industry dynamics, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop investment theses and identify key risks, catalysts, and value drivers.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Assist in structuring and executing mergers, acquisitions, strategic financings, PIPE investments, and other capital markets transactions.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel, accountants, investment banks, institutional investors, and other advisors throughout the transaction process.
  • Evaluate financing alternatives, investor economics, ownership dynamics, and transaction considerations.
  • Support transaction execution from initial evaluation through closing.
  • Partner directly with the principals on new investment strategies, capital formation initiatives, and broader platform growth.
  • Help identify emerging themes, sectors, and opportunities aligned with the firm’s investment mandate.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner on critical investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of SPAC transactions, PIPE financings, and alternative capital markets structures.
  • Experience evaluating, executing, advising on, or investing in complex transactions.
  • Familiarity with public and private company valuation methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze investor economics, ownership structures, dilution considerations, and financing alternatives.
  • Comfort interacting directly with founders, CEOs, institutional investors, and senior advisors.

Required Experience

  • Direct experience with SPAC-related transactions, PIPE financings, structured equity investments, or public-company transactions.
  • Existing relationships within the institutional investment, hedge fund, private equity, venture capital, and banking communities.
  • Healthcare, technology, software, industrial, energy, business services, or infrastructure sector experience.
  • Familiarity with securities laws, transaction structuring, and public company considerations.
