About the role

The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. We focus on our clients' overall financial needs, with consideration and respect for their total relationship with Wells Fargo.

Responsibilities

  • Execute capital markets and M&A transactions for our corporate clients
  • Present complex ideas and analyses to internal and external parties
  • Generate strategic content, including industry analysis and product-specific concepts
  • Cook up deliverables with internal product partners
  • Manage day-to-day project workflows

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Power sector
  • Experience with transactions in the IPP/Thermal Generation space
  • Large acquisition financing experience
  • Company or asset sellside and buyside experience
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lead and coach junior staff

Skills

  • Ability to register for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within 90 days of hire date
  • Ability to register for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) within 90 days of hire date
  • Ability to register for FINRA Series 79 within 90 days of hire date

Pay

$275,000-$275,000 Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $185,000.00 - $300,000.00

Schedule

Employees may be required to travel up to 30% of the time.
