Vice President, Immuno-Oncology Marketing
About the role
The Vice President, Immuno-Oncology Marketing will lead the company's marketing initiatives for LOQTORZI® (toripalimab-tpzi), Coherus’ first Immuno-Oncology asset. This person will be the brand champion, responsible for creating and implementing the Brand Strategy and tactical plans that differentiate and demonstrate the therapeutic value of Coherus’ Immuno-Oncology portfolio to patients, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders within the healthcare system. A strong track record of partnering with cross-functional teams to build alignment across the organization is essential.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Coherus Commercial Leadership Team.
- Create the LOQTORZI® (toripalimab-tpzi) Brand Strategy and Value Story.
- Manage product positioning based on competition and market segmentation to maintain brand differentiation.
- Develop and execute all personal and non-personal promotions for LOQTORZI® (toripalimab-tpzi).
- Lead strategy and tactical deliverables for the Coherus Sales Teams, Corporate Accounts, and Thought Leader Liaison Teams.
- Oversee digital and print strategy and tactical deliverables.
- Optimize return-on-investment, manage the Agency-of-Record, and oversee the promotional budget for LOQTORZI® (toripalimab-tpzi).
- Lead and develop a team of talented professionals, including Marketing and Thought Leader Liaisons.
- Manage branding for LOQTORZI® (toripalimab-tpzi) and the Immuno-Oncology portfolio.
- Support business development planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA) is strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in healthcare/pharma.
- Direct experience in Oncology marketing and Rare Disease or Rare Oncology marketing.
- Broad experience in personal and non-personal channels and tactics that drive success in biopharma marketing.
- Experience optimizing Return-on-Investment, managing an Agency-of-Record, and overseeing a promotional budget.
- Experience marketing to various audiences, including Oncologists, Nurses, pharmacists, office-practice managers, and trade organizations.
- Proven track record of working with Sales Management, Commercial Operations, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Solid track record in building and developing teams.
- Experience in the business of Immuno-Oncology and/or Oncology-related injectables (“Buy and Bill”).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
Pay
The Base Salary Range for this position is $290,000 to $335,000. Coherus considers various factors, including professional background and work experience, when determining base pay.
