The Vice President, Health Center Operations has senior management responsibility for the leadership and operational oversight of Vivent Health clinical and social services programs at designated locations. This role ensures the efficient delivery of healthcare services, drives operational excellence, and supports the strategic goals of Vivent Health. The Vice President, Health Center Operations, in coordination with other teams, will ensure quality services, enhance patient and client care, and promote a just and learning culture for the location(s) they lead. Essential Job Duties Provide strategic leadership and direction to enhance Vivent Health’s Excellence in Care, including prevention, clinical services, and social services, ensuring consistency in service delivery, elevating the quality of services and determining the strategic evolution of Vivent Health’s service expansion. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategies that align with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and Excellence in Care model. Operate programs in alignment with organizational standards, to build on current quality performance to meet or exceed Vivent Health expectations and key performance indicators, achieve Vivent Health productivity standards, and implement quality enhancement efforts through technology, training, and quality improvement activities. Actively work to expand the clinical sites and services of the Vivent Health Centers to ensure access to high-quality care. Oversee budgeting and resource allocation to ensure effective use of organizational resources and financial stability, including coordination with Chief Health Services Officer, to assure revenue maximization, contract management and efficient revenue cycle operations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, mentor staff, and promote professional development and training opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, patients, volunteers, supporters, and regulatory bodies. Leverage technology and data analytics to streamline operations, workflows, improve patient outcomes, and support decision-making processes. Knowledge Required Required and preferred knowledge and experiences to succeed. Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required.Masters degree in business (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA) or related is preferred.Work Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record of successfully managing complex healthcare operations and leading large, multidisciplinary teams.Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading and developing people; fostering a collaborative, mission driven team environment that supports high quality care and community impact.Technical Experience:Proficiency with MS Office and all related programs; knowledge of Windows and databases required. Experience with an EMR/EHR system (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar) preferred.Soft Skills:Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving organizational goals.Ability to think strategically, anticipate future challenges, and develop innovative solutions to drive operational excellence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and convey complex information clearly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and implement effective changes. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong professional Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, environments, and emerging challenges in the healthcare industry. Sound decision-making skills with a focus on data-driven and evidence-based practices. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all operational activities. Ability to understand and respond to the needs of patients, staff, and the community with compassion and empathy. Strong ethical standards and commitment to upholding the values and mission of Vivent Additional Preferred Qualifications:Must be willing and able to travel within and throughout the service delivery area, with occasional travel to other locations/sites as needed.Knowledge of and sensitivity to the HIV/AIDS patient population and/or an eagerness to learn about this community.
