Vice President, FX Platform Sales
About the Role
As a Vice President, FX Platform Sales on our Markets team, you will drive the adoption and penetration of BNY’s Delegated FX solutions by engaging institutional clients on execution needs, workflows, and tailored offerings. This role is based in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Drive adoption and penetration of BNY’s Delegated FX solutions by engaging institutional clients on execution needs, workflows, and tailored solution offerings.
- Maintain a disciplined and high-quality pipeline, helping convert qualified client engagement into financial opportunities.
- Achieve financial targets and deepen share of wallet with priority clients through proactive business development and relationship management.
- Leverage AI and technology-enabled tools to optimize sales activities and support client adoption across FX platform workflows.
- Coordinate across internal business units to research and gather information necessary to engage sales targets appropriately.
- Support the development of client-ready materials and commercial narratives that clearly articulate BNY’s FX platform value proposition.
- Apply data-driven insights and analytical rigor to identify emerging market opportunities and optimize client segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate and influence across diverse stakeholder groups to progress client opportunities, remove execution barriers, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in financial sales, with experience in securities or financial services preferred, particularly in FX or institutional sales environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of FX, client workflows, and institutional sales practices.
- Project management skills and experience desired, including agile practices, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment, though not essential.
- Decisive, with strong interpersonal and planning skills; comfortable running experiments, measuring outcomes, and iterating quickly.
- Experience building executive-ready materials, including succinct narratives, clean visuals, clear sourcing, and action tracking.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
