About the role
Reporting to the Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Trinity Health’s West Region (Idaho, Oregon and California), this position provides financial stewardship and direction to Saint Agnes through effective business leadership, strategy deployment, internal controls and operating and capital budget development, monitoring and management.
Engages in market level strategy alignment. Assists in evaluating the success of the company in achieving its goals and formulating plans to correct any issues if the company is not achieving its goals.
Responsibilities
- Manages teams of mid-level and senior professionals.
- Leads or engages in multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
- Assists in managing the company's finances, identifying ways to increase revenue and decrease costs, analyzing financial reports, and preparing operating budgets.
- Participates with other senior management to address, interpret, resolve and monitor a broad and diverse range of financial, operational and strategic issues.
- Ensures the integrity of all financial information and reporting for area of responsibility.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or related field required.
- Ten years’ experience in financial management with progressively increasing responsibility and a minimum of five years’ experience as CFO, controller or finance director in a hospital setting or complex service organization is required.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is strongly preferred.
- Experience in working in a complex delivery system with a multi-specialty medical group and a Medicare Advantage health plan is desirable.
Skills
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, state & local laws/regulations.
- Understanding of Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of conduct, as well as other policies & procedures.
