You understand that the most powerful experiences create emotional connection, earn attention, drive conversation, and deepen the relationship between brands and the audiences they care about most.

Responsibilities

  • Experiential Strategy & Creative Leadership

    • Lead the development of experiential strategies that connect brands to fans, consumers, and cultural audiences across sports and entertainment
    • Guide the experiential team in translating brand objectives, audience insights, and sponsorship platforms into ownable live experiences that build brand connections and drive return on investment
    • Oversee experiential programs tied to major sports and entertainment properties, including global events, league and team partnerships, music, lifestyle, culture, and tentpole moments
    • Champion ideas that are distinctive, scalable, measurable, and built to create significant brand impact before, during, and after the experience
  • Client Leadership

  • Serve as a senior experiential advisor to clients, helping shape vision, priorities, investment, and executional approach
  • Lead conversations around experience, design, consumer journey, fan engagement, sponsorship activation, and measurement
  • Build trusted relationships with senior brand, marketing, partnership, and agency partners
  • Experience Production & Execution

    • Oversee the planning and delivery of experiential programs across multiple markets, properties, and live event environments
    • Ensure seamless execution across creative development, planning, production, environment design, technology, staffing, logistics, and operations
    • Manage vendor and partner relationships including production companies, fabricators, venues, talent partners, technology providers, and field managers
    • Oversee internal and external budgets, timelines, scopes, staffing plans, and delivery standards on behalf of client teams
    • Guide the experiential team in standardized and timely reporting, recaps, performance measurement, and return on investment updates to clients
    • Develop post-event insights and key takeaways that improve future work and can be applied across agency and client teams
  • Business Development

    • Support new business pitches with experiential platforms, activation concepts, production approaches, associated budgets and strategic recommendations
    • Find opportunities to expand experiential or other service offerings within existing client relationships
    • Stay current on emerging experiential marketing trends, competitive activity, and industry insights to support growth with existing and prospective clients
  • Team Leadership

    • Lead, mentor, and grow the experiential team
    • Guide teams through complex event activation planning processes
    • Build a culture of creative excellence, accountability, creativity, and collaboration
    • Lead the experiential team by example by continuing to learn and invest in the sports and entertainment business through relationship development and knowledge of the business of sport
    • Demonstrate genuine support for and actively promote the agency’s mission and values internally and externally

    Qualifications

    • 10-15+ years of experience in experiential marketing, sports and entertainment marketing, brand activation, event production, sponsorship activation, or related fields
    • Experience leading experiential programs, tours, event activations, etc. for major brands, sports properties, entertainment platforms, or cultural events
    • Excellent business writing and presentation skills, with the ability to translate insights and ideas into clear, compelling pitch materials with strong communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for pitch development, proposal support, reporting, and budget-related materials
    • Deep understanding of how to create brand experiences that engage audiences, activate partnerships, generate content, and deliver measurable impact
    • Strong client leadership, executive presence, storytelling, and presentation skills
    • Proven ability to manage large-scale experiential programs, multiple concurrent workstreams, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
    • Experience leading teams, developing talent, and building effective processes for creative and operational delivery
    • Willingness to travel and lead on-site execution. Travel may be 40 - 60%
