Vice President, Business Development – Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Cybersecurity & CMMC Compliance
About the role
Total Assure is a cybersecurity and compliance firm focused on the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). We assist defense contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, and suppliers meet CMMC certification and NIST SP 800-171 compliance requirements through various services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy targeting organizations needing cybersecurity and compliance services.
- Build and maintain a robust qualified pipeline to support aggressive growth objectives.
- Generate leads through direct outreach, referrals, strategic partnerships, networking, and industry engagement.
- Conduct executive-level meetings with CEOs, CISOs, FSOs, compliance leaders, and stakeholders.
- Represent Total Assure at industry events such as NDIA, AFCEA, NCMS, SAME, and others.
Requirements
Established relationships within the Defense Industrial Base required. Strong relationships, credibility, and market access within the DIB ecosystem are essential.
Qualifications
Experience in business development, particularly in the defense industrial sector. Proven track record of generating leads and building relationships with executive decision-makers.
