Vice President, Association Banking
What You'll Do
As a Business Development Officer, you'll focus on developing new business opportunities by offering Bank’s industry-specific banking services and products to the Community Association Industry. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Cold calling, establishing new business opportunities, providing sales presentations, attending industry trade show events, marketing to prospects via phone/email/in-person visits.
- Following up with existing clients on customer service items.
- Performing light administrative tasks.
- Promoting and educating existing clients and future clients on the products and services offered through the Bank.
- Supporting the Director in meeting deposit and lending goals.
- Growing existing client relationships and cross-selling products and services.
- Identifying and cold-calling on prospective clients to develop new relationships and build a portfolio of management company deposits.
- Attending industry events including exhibiting at trade shows, attending luncheons, and being an active member of the local Community Association Institute (CAI) Chapter.
- Attending association board meetings, national events, and sales training, which may require travel.
- Effectively communicating banking services via email, letters, demonstrations, presentations, and conversations.
- Liaising between the operations team and clients as needed.
- Ensuring clients receive necessary service levels and troubleshooting their issues or concerns.
- Working closely with their manager and reviewing key performance indicators.
- Preparing and submitting new client forms and updating existing client forms.
- Participating in remote training and attending remote sales meetings.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of related experience.
- A high school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
- May require up to 75% travel.
Compensation
The salary range for new hires is generally $100,370.00 - $123,983.00 for Minnesota. For Illinois, the salary range is also $100,370.00 - $123,983.00. The salary amount is determined by the specific job location. Additionally, the role may be eligible for an annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
