Overview
A leading global financial services firm is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Banking team focused on Industrials. This role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in executing strategic advisory and capital markets transactions for a diverse set of industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and structuring
- Oversee development and review of financial models (DCF, LBO, comps, precedents) and transaction analyses
- Manage preparation and delivery of client presentations, pitches, and marketing materials
- Cook up and coordinate all aspects of deal execution, working with clients, legal counsel, and external advisors
- Supervise and mentor Analysts and Associates, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output
- Support senior bankers in client coverage, relationship management, and business development initiatives
- Contribute to origination efforts, including idea generation and pitch development within Industrials
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and capital markets activity impacting Industrials sectors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., capital markets, industry groups) to deliver holistic client solutions
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of investment banking or relevant corporate finance experience, ideally with Industrials sector exposure
- Proven experience leading transaction execution across M&A and/or capital markets deals
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skillset
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing junior team members and workflows
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
