Investment Banking Vice President

Job Summary

Wipfli Corporate Finance Advisors, LLC is seeking a Vice President to join its Twin Cities office. This role supports investment banking team on M&A transactions, prepares confidential information memos, and conducts financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support investment banking team on the execution of M&A transactions.
• Aid in preparing confidential information memos, pitch materials, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for various financial and valuation analyses.
• Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research.
• Mentor junior associates, offering guidance and support in tasks and career goals.
• Play a key role in origination, opportunity evaluation, and deal execution.
• Occasionally travel, up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in investment banking.
• SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses preferred, or must attain within 90 days of hire date required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage key workstreams within M&A transactions.
• Experience interacting directly with clients and supporting presentations and strategic discussions.
• Proven leadership experience, including overseeing junior team members and reviewing deliverables.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience contributing to business development efforts, including pitch materials or client pursuits.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deal timelines effectively.
• Must reside in or around the Twin Cities and able to commute to the office.
• Able to maintain a hybrid schedule of at least 4 days in office.
