About the Role

We are partnering with a leading middle-market investment bank specializing in mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and financial advisory services for private and public companies. The firm has completed more than 300 transactions and built a reputation for delivering exceptional outcomes.

The Vice President will play a critical role in leading transaction execution, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior bankers. This position offers client exposure and the opportunity to work directly alongside senior leadership across a broad range of M&A and capital raising engagements.

The ideal candidate will have transaction experience within Business Services, Technology, or Industrials, though candidates from other sectors will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of M&A, capital raising, and financial advisory engagements from launch through closing.
  • Manage day-to-day transaction processes and serve as a primary point of contact for clients and counterparties.
  • Oversee financial modeling, valuation analyses, due diligence, CIM preparation, management presentations, and other transaction materials.
  • Review and mentor Analysts and Associates while ensuring the delivery of high-quality work product.
  • Participate in client meetings, management presentations, negotiations, and strategic discussions.
  • Work closely with senior bankers to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Manage multiple live engagements simultaneously while maintaining exceptional execution standards.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of investment banking experience with meaningful M&A transaction execution experience.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing multiple transactions and leading junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
