VHA Program Manager

Gritter Francona is looking for a VHA Program Manager. The VHA Program Manager provides strategic leadership, oversight, and execution support for complex enterprise healthcare initiatives supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). This position could lead the planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of multiple high-visibility programs that advance VHA priorities. This role serves as the primary interface between contractor leadership and VA stakeholders, ensuring program performance, compliance with contractual requirements, risk management, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex healthcare programs supporting an integrated healthcare systemProvide strategic oversight of enterprise initiatives for VHA prioritiesManage contract performance, project schedules, deliverables, staffing, and resource allocation across multiple workstreamsCollaborate with VA leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to establish priorities, resolve issues, and achieve targeted program outcomesOversee program governance, risk management, performance reporting, and quality assurance activitiesDirect project management activities using industry best practices and established project management methodologiesProvide oversight of data analytics, performance metrics, dashboard development, and reporting to support executive decision-makingSupport budget planning, financial tracking, and budget application management activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve operational efficiency and program performanceLead organizational change management efforts supporting implementation of clinical, operational, and technology initiativesEnsure compliance with VA policies, federal regulations, and contractual requirementsMentor project managers and technical staff while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams Requirements Master's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a healthcare-related discipline, including Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related fieldExperience implementing enterprise clinical and/or healthcare technology solutions within a large healthcare systemExpert knowledge of organizational change management, process improvement, and implementation science methodologiesProfessional certifications such as Prosci Change Management, Lean, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalentStrong technical knowledge of healthcare informatics, healthcare data analytics, performance measurement, and reportingExperience supporting enterprise governance, executive reporting, and strategic planning initiatives Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & Development
