Responsibilities

• Operate commercial and instrument helicopter ratings
• Provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service to both internal and external customers
• Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns
• Perform line pilot duties in accordance with the General Operating Manual (GOM)
• Participate in community outreach programs

Requirements

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings
• First Class Medical Certification
• CAMTS Requirement: 2,000 total hours, 1,500 hours helicopter, 1,000 hours PIC helicopters, 500 hours turbine helicopters, 100 hours in unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided and 100 hours night vision goggles (NVG)
• Maintain the company’s flight personnel weight restriction policy
• Pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment), lift 100 pounds to assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment, drug screening, and background screen
• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle stress and operate under pressure
• Pass annual flu vaccine

Skills

• Exceptional piloting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety protocols
