Veterinary Technician, Overnight ICU
About the role
Nashville Veterinary Specialists is looking to add Veterinary Technicians to their Overnight ICU Team!
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional client and patient care
- Perform a variety of veterinary procedures under supervision
- Assist in diagnostics and treatments
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and uplifting hospital culture

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years working as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant, preferably in emergency medicine
- Experience in all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
- Advanced skill set includes (preferred, not required): central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement
- Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members

Pay
$20 - $29/hr, based on experience. Additional $4.50 shift and weekend differentials available.
Schedule
Consistent, Three 12-hour shifts per week. Night Shift: 6pm – 6am
