About the role
Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) Sorrento Valley is seeking full-time Veterinary Technicians to join their overnight ICU Critical Care team. A $1500 sign-on bonus is available for interested candidates, details can be found during the application process.
About the hospital
As the only VECCS Level I Trauma Center in San Diego County, VSH's ECC department is dedicated to caring for veterinary trauma patients. The ECC nursing staff collaborate with 3 board-certified criticalists, ECC residents, and experienced ER clinicians to provide advanced care and continuous learning opportunities.
Shift info
Overnight: 3/12-hour shifts; Nights TBD.
Wage scale
- RVT: $28 - $40/hr
- VTS: $35 - $48/hr
About you
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting required. 2 years of ECC experience required. RVT certification preferred. Must have a positive outlook and be able to work collaboratively in a high-stress environment. Commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community is essential.
