Overnight Veterinary Technician - ICU

Overview

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician in Reno, NV! The position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Pay

LVT Pay: $22.25 - $42.77 / hour. The pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system. Shift differentials are offered for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
