Veterinary Technician Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing/implementing methods of improving the clinic and morale of the technicians
• Investigate and/or develop learning opportunities for team
• Work with leadership team/management on developing and implementing new policies, procedures and accountability efforts
• Client communication and education
• Patient care and husbandry
• Technical duties, including blood draws, x-rays, anesthesia monitoring, and IV catheter placement
• Patient restraint and assisting veterinarians during exams and procedures
• Preparing patients for exams and procedures
• Filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently

Pay

Competitive pay starting at $24-$26/hour, based on experience.
