Veterinary Technician - Emergency & ICU - Part time

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range: $22.00 - $37.00/hour
  • Dependent on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through competency assessment tool.
  • Shift Differential Pay: +$3.50/hr for 6pm to 8am nights, +$5.00/hr for 6pm to 8am weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable and skilled in ER Veterinary Technicians duties.
• Proficient in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery techniques.
• Ability to triage emergency cases and obtain vital signs.
• Experience with digital radiography and patient vital sign interpretation.
• Skills in administering medications, phlebotomy, and catheter placement.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
• Patience and empathy for addressing client concerns.
