About the Role

Petfolk Apollo Beach Pet Care Center is opening in December 2026 and is hiring a Veterinary Technician to help reshape veterinary care by blending high-quality medicine with a welcoming, connected experience for pets, their families, and veterinary professionals. At Petfolk Veterinary Clinic in Apollo Beach, we’re transforming modern pet care through advanced technology, modern facility design, and a supportive, collaborative culture. We’re looking for confident, friendly, and passionate veterinary professionals dedicated to high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
• Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab diagnostics
• Educating pet parents with compassion and clarity
• Ensuring accurate medical documentation and patient histories
• Promoting low-stress and Fear-Free techniques in every interaction
• Mentoring assistants and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) in the state of Florida
• Confident in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and diagnostics
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Committed to low-stress, Fear-Free handling (certification a plus)
• Comfortable with technology, adaptable, and motivated to grow
