Veterinary Specialty/ER Director of Operations 06-26

About the role

Curo Pet Care is seeking a highly experienced leader in the veterinary or broader medical/service industry to serve as its Director of Operations for Specialty and Emergency Hospitals on the West Coast. The role will oversee and manage existing Spec/ER hospitals and plan, construct, and grow new, state-of-the-art referral centers.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with the ownership team to develop and execute:

  • Strategic planning
  • Marketing
  • Financial management
  • Vendor relationships

• Day-to-day operational support of hospital level administrators:

  • HR/team management
  • Bookkeeping
  • OSHA compliance
  • Inventory
  • Client experience

• Development and implementation of non-medical protocols, best practices, and staff training

• Coordination and oversight of new, state-of-the-art Spec/ER hospitals in the region

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience managing multi-site veterinary/medical/service operations
• Deep expertise in HR, finance, marketing, facilities, and medical program support
• (Optional) CVPM certification
