Windham Animal Hospital is a high-quality, multi-doctor, full-service veterinary hospital looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate team member to join us in a hybrid Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant role. About the role
This hybrid position combines outstanding client service with hands-on patient care. You’ll build meaningful relationships with clients while supporting patients and the clinical team, gaining experience across multiple areas of the hospital. Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Manage multiple phone lines and provide exceptional telephone service.
- Schedule appointments and help coordinate the hospital’s daily workflow.
- Process payments and assist clients during check-in and check-out.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Update client and patient information accurately.
- Assist veterinary technicians with safe patient handling and restraint.
- Help monitor patients and communicate concerns to the medical team.
- Clean and prepare treatment, exam, and patient-care areas.
- Assist with ordering and stocking hospital supplies.
- Support veterinarians, technicians, and teammates wherever needed.
Requirements
