Receptionist
Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with Concierge and other departments to ensure communication when there is a visitor in the facility.
- Answers all calls coming into the facility in a professional manner and tone, transferring and routing appropriately.
- Oversees all mail in facility, including sorting and distributing mail.
- Efficiently contacts appropriate staff members with referrals.
- Plays key role with ensuring all referral related calls get to the right party in the proper amount of time.
- Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
- May assist Business Office Manager with accounts payable receipts.
- Welcomes and provides link to online application to job seekers.
- Sends emails and faxes.
- May input admission or patient information into the computer system as required.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of prior work experience handling receptionist responsibilities is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
- Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards.

About the Role
The Receptionist assists the Administrator and other key personnel in managing the incoming calls and schedules. The Receptionist greets employees, residents, and guests in a timely manner and with great professionalism while maintaining security.
