Veterinary Receptionist - Part-time

About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic, upbeat Receptionist to join our team at Companion Animal Hospital. You'll greet pets and their people with a smile, schedule appointments, answer phones, manage check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and share helpful information about our services.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets with a warm welcome
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Answer phones and direct calls
• Manage check-ins and check-outs
• Process payments and handle cash transactions
• Share information about our services and products

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Invoicing, cash handling, and processing credit card transactions
• Previous veterinary experience is highly desired

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Skills

• Customer service skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and practices
