Veterinary Receptionist (Part-time)

About the role

As a Client Care Representative, you'll be the warm, welcoming face of our veterinary practice! In this vital front-line position, you'll create positive first impressions with our clients and set the tone for their entire experience with us. You'll be the compassionate bridge between our clients and their beloved pets' care, guiding pet parents through appointments, answering questions, and ensuring smooth operations at our reception area.

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional first impressions by greeting every client with efficiency and warmth
• Multi-task and attend to multi-line phone systems and veterinary programs
• Proactively manage appointments, confirm, and handle check-ins and check-outs with proper documentation
• Maintain an inviting, clean, and organized reception area that helps create a positive experience for clients and their pets
• Accurately handle deposits and financial transactions from clients
• Accurately educate clients on veterinary services and best practices for animal care

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
• 1+ years of customer service experience in an animal hospital
• Experience with veterinary programs
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and protocols
• Ability to manage cash handling and financial transactions

Qualifications
