Veterinary Receptionist (Part-time)

About the role

This role is a part-time Client Care Representative position at Westminster Veterinary Group. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional first impressions and communication skills to clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Create positive first impressions with clients and pets
• Manage multi-line phone systems and gather important information accurately
• Convey pet care instructions clearly and compassionately
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
• Distribute daily schedules and prepare patient files
• Maintain an inviting and organized reception area
• Optimize clinic workflow through strategic appointment scheduling and proactive confirmation calls
• Handle deposits and financial transactions accurately
• Educate clients on veterinary services and best practices for animal care

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 1+ years of customer service experience in an animal hospital
• Experience with veterinary programs
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and protocols
• Ability to manage cash handling and financial transactions

Pay

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule

Working 3 days a week, specifically Fridays, Saturdays, and the third day which varies.
