About the role

An externship experience at Forest Hill Animal Hospital will provide students with hands-on clinical experience and insight into the daily operations of an animal hospital.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in gathering patient histories
• Perform physical exams
• Create treatment plans
• Diagnose and perform diagnostics
• Provide dental services
• Assist or perform surgical procedures
• Manage medical care for patients
• Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients

Requirements

Eligible for clinical year students in veterinary school. Must be in the clinical portion of their education.
