About the role

An externship experience at Seaport Animal Hospital will provide students with hands-on clinical experience and insight into daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in gathering patient histories
• Perform physical exams
• Create treatment plans
• Diagnose and perform diagnostics
• Provide dental services
• Assist or perform surgical procedures
• Manage medical cases
• Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients

Requirements

Open to veterinary students of all classes who are in the clinical portion of their education. Eligible for a travel/living expense stipend of $500.
