About the role

An externship experience at Gull Lake Animal Hospital will provide students with hands-on clinical experience and insight into daily practice operations.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in gathering patient histories
• Perform physical exams
• Create treatment plans
• Diagnose and perform diagnostics
• Provide dental care
• Assist or perform surgical procedures
• Manage medical cases
• Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled veterinary students
• Must be in the clinical portion of their education
• Eligible for a travel/living expense stipend
