Veterinary Extern - General Practice

About the role

Fremont Animal Hospital offers veterinary externship opportunities for veterinary students. Students will work under the supervision of veterinarians to gain practical experience in various aspects of veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient histories
• Perform physical exams
• Create treatment plans
• Perform diagnostics
• Provide dental services
• Assist or perform surgical procedures
• Manage medical cases

Qualifications

Veterinary students of all classes are welcome to participate. Those in the clinical portion of their education may be eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
