Responsibilities

• Gain experience in gathering patient histories
• Perform physical exams
• Create treatment plans
• Perform diagnostics
• Provide dental services
• Assist or perform surgical procedures
• Manage medical aspects of patients
• Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients

Qualifications

Veterinary students (all class years) are welcome to participate in externships at Frederick Road Veterinary Hospital. Students in the clinical portion of their education may be eligible for a travel/living expense stipend of $1,500.
