Veterinary Extern - General Practice

About the role

The Animalife Veterinary Center offers an externship experience for veterinary students, focusing on wellness with a pet-centered culture. Students will work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of veterinary care.

Responsibilities

- Gather patient histories - Perform physical exams - Create treatment plans - Conduct diagnostics - Provide dental services - Assist or perform surgical procedures - Manage medical cases

Requirements

- Currently enrolled veterinary students - No prior experience required

Qualifications

- Strong academic performance - Excellent communication skills - Commitment to animal welfare

Skills

- Proficiency in veterinary medicine - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
