About the role
MedVet is seeking a Cardiologist (board-certified or residency-trained) to join their active specialty in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Team-oriented and excellent communication skills with colleagues, clients, and the referral community
- Benefit from state-of-the-art imaging and cath lab equipment, well-trained technicians, and supportive medical leaders
- Mentor House Officers and rotate interns, specialty interns, and residents
Requirements
- Board certification or residency training in cardiology
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with state-of-the-art imaging and cath lab equipment
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about providing exceptional care
Skills
- Proficiency with high-flow oxygen, mechanical ventilation, and MR imaging
- Knowledge of hemoperfusion, hemodialysis, apheresis, electrochemotherapy, immunotherapy, and extracorporeal therapy
- Excellent mentorship skills
