Veterinary Cardiologist
About the role
Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Cardiologist to join the ACCESS San Fernando Valley team. ACCESS is a network of multi-specialty practices providing 24/7 ER and specialty care to the SoCal area. Specialties include critical care, cardiology, oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, endoscopy, surgery, orthopedic surgery with joint replacement center, nephrology, neurology, urology, and avian/exotic medicine. Each hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations using state-of-the-art equipment
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with other specialists and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in veterinary cardiology
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing
- Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
- Board Certification in Veterinary Cardiology or residency training
Qualifications
- Experience with complex cardiac cases
- Strong clinical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an annual base salary range starting at $150,000 - $300,000/year. The actual salary offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
