Veterinary Cardiologist

About the role

Bulger Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time board-certified or residency trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join our exceptional 24/7 Emergency, General Practice and Specialty referral hospital in Lawrence, MA.

Responsibilities

• Serve a growing cardiology department with both appointment availability and inpatient monitoring needs.
• Provide comprehensive cardiac care services to patients.
• Collaborate with other specialists and veterinarians to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Board certification or completion of a residency program in veterinary cardiology.
• Experience in cardiology, preferably in a 24/7 emergency setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Massachusetts.
• Knowledge of veterinary cardiology principles and practices.

Skills

• Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills in cardiology.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in echocardiography and other cardiological techniques.
