About the role
MedVet Salt Lake City is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care for hospitalized patients
- Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with other specialists and veterinarians to develop treatment plans
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Board certification or completion of a recognized residency program in veterinary cardiology
- Current AVDC (American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) certification preferred
- Experience in treating complex cardiac cases
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- State license to practice veterinary medicine
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective time management and organizational skills

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
