About the role
Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Cardiologist to join our team!
Location
Bowie, MD (within 30 minutes of Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis)
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the intake and management of hospitalized cardiology patients
- Taking direct referrals from our referral partners in the community, as well as internal referrals
- Creating and recommending treatment plans
- Careful and thorough client communication
- Maintaining and updating medical records
- Facilitating in-house consultations for our specialty and emergency services as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Residency training in Cardiology (board certified or eligible)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A compassionate and friendly demeanor
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a schedule of 4 daytime shifts per week, up to 10 hours.
