Veterinary Assistant Overnight Emergency

VCA Veterinary Specialist of CT is seeking a Full‑time Overnight Emergency Veterinary Assistant to join the team at our 24‑7 general, emergency and specialty hospital in West Hartford, CT. Schedule
Full‑time overnight shift: 6 pm – 6 am.
Pay
$23 – $30 per hour, based on experience and skill set.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring for sedated procedures
- Full technician skill utilization
- Collecting patient histories & performing physical exams
- Venipuncture / IVC placement
- Hands‑free radiology (associate safety a top priority)
- Working collaboratively with team members across all hospital services
- Providing compassionate care for all patients
Skills / Qualifications
- Emergency/Critical Care experience preferred
